Blocks in the Visual Editor allow you to save and reuse templates, optimizing the editing process of pages. Blocks can be stored as layout templates for further usage on the account.

Accessing Blocks in the Visual Editor

You can find the Blocks tab by clicking the Add icon on the Visual Editor Left Panel. They form a vital part of the structural hierarchy within selected states.

General Blocks

The Visual Editor presents you with a comprehensive set of pre-designed Blocks, each combining multiple widgets to offer fully outlined solutions for your pages. These Blocks are categorized and arranged for easy access in the General Blocks tab. You can explore and discover suitable options by browsing through categories and searching with relevant keywords.

My Blocks

My Blocks is your personal library of custom block templates that you can create from scratch. Depending on the website template, you can get a list of blocks or create any custom blocks.

Saving Blocks

Expanding your library of custom blocks is simple. To save a block:

  1. Switch to the Block component on the canvas.
  2. Look for the Save icon in the upper right corner of the property panel and click it.

3. A pop-up window will appear, prompting you to provide a Title, Category, and Preview image for the block you're creating.

4. Click Save to keep your changes or Cancel to discard them.

Tip: Ctrl/Cmd-clicking a widget automatically selects the block.

The newly saved block will be accessible in the My Blocks tab. To use it in your projects:

  1. Use the search feature to locate your block quickly.
  2. Drag and drop the chosen block from the library onto your desired area within the crafting area.

Note: Your saved blocks can be used across all the projects on your account for better efficiency and consistency of the websites you create.

Tip:

  • To edit or delete the saved blocks, hover over them, click the Dotted menu, and select the corresponding option.
  • To duplicate the block, click the Duplicate icon near the corresponding block.
