Booking Types

The Booking Type, in the context of product reservations, is a product grouping with several variants, each having its unique attributes. These groups provide you with the possibility to add different choices to the same product without creating an entirely new product. For instance, when registering for a language course, customers can select languages (e.g., Spanish, French, English) with proficiency levels (e.g., beginner, intermediate, advanced).

This approach provides the flexibility of the booking process, allowing customers to easily locate and select the precise configuration they need.

Here, you can:

• create a new booking type (group);
• search for the relevant types;
• sort the groups by the creation date and alphabetically.

Creating a Booking Type

To create a Booking Type:

1. Click + New Booking Type.
2. Set the name of the Type.
3. Select the icon from the drop-down list.
4. Click Save.

Tip: To edit, duplicate, or delete the booking types, click the Dotted Menu, and opt for the appropriate option.

Assigning a New Field Group

To create a Booking Type (product with variants) for the Booking Product, make sure to create Fields (see Products > Fields) for the relevant Booking Product, and after you can assign the Fields to the newly-created Type. Once the Fields are assigned to the Booking Type, you can create a Booking Product referring to the field group you want to specify.

In the booking product creation process, you can see both your created Types with their relevant Fields and the Default Type.

To create a New Field Group:

1. Click the New Field.
2. Set the Group Name.
3. Select the group-relevant fields in the Add Field or search for them.
4. Click Save.

Tip: To edit or delete groups, click the Dotted Menu, and opt for the appropriate option.

Note: You can not delete the default Field Group.
